With easy to follow step-by-step instructions, students will build a complex "celtic" knot cane which is designed to interlock and repeat into a wonderful array of patterns. From just one cane students will build a series of canes by cutting, reforming and recombining them, manipulating each of the pieces differently and exploring the possibilities of infinite pattern variation. Finally, we'll make beads and discuss techniques that dramatically enhace the finished look of the work.
